Green & Glam Eucalyptus: from herbal remedy to decoration

Eucalyptus is well known for its therapeutic properties that have been used for centuries. This beautiful plant is used as disinfectant and as an active ingredient in herbal teas and aerosols to cure throat and lungs. Together with mint, it is one of the best-known balsamic plants in herbalism and perfumery, and recently it has seen a growth in its use as a decorative plant. The branches of the eucalyptus have different shaped leaves, depending on the development period of every single plant: young leaves are rounded and icy in colour, similar to lichen, while older leaves are dark green, long and pointed in shape.
