Denim is undisputedly a timeless fabric when it comes to fashion and decoration, and it is used in all seasons and on all occasions. Created in the late 19 th century, denim has shown no sign of aging over the last 150 years and it is once again an important presence for 2017. Although denim is a staple in the fashion world, it is even more important that, as not only is it part of the clothing sector, it is also used in furnishing, decorating, paper packaging and graphic design. It is used to cover seats and chairs, to decorate Christmas trees and cover diaries or even cups and mugs. Denim suits spring designs as much as it does country-style Christmas decorations.
Our 2017 catalogue finds denim in the form of fabric and polypropylene ribbons. For the fabric ribbon, the appearance is that of a coarse denim in typical jeans shades, available in a palette that only varies in terms of its slight edge trim, from white to red, yellow or fuchsia.
The polypropylene line, on the other hand, has a more modern style of denim, both in solid colours or with large polka dot patterns in contrasting shades. The colours are classic, with a range of pastel yellow, pink and green variations of the denim theme, but always with the typical blue jeans design.
